BITE ME - Freeze Dried Food is a small shop located in the Elk Valley BC. Our family is always out adventuring so we were inspired to start creating fun freeze dried foods. We have expanded to candy, ice cream, fruit, and snacks. We hope to soon launch breakfast and meals! We are a licensed commercial kitchen through Interior Health and look forward to expanding.

What is freeze drying?
Freeze drying is the process of freezing, then reheating a food item while using a vacuum pump to remove all the moisture.
Is it healthy?
All of our items have zero addedpreservatives, chemicals, or sugars. Freeze drying also retains up to 97% of its nutritional value.
What does it taste like?
Freeze dried food has a completely different texture, fruit often becomes light and chewy candy will become crunchy. All while the taste stays the same.
How do I store it?
Freeze dried foods do NOT require any refrigeration. All items are shelf stable, and recommended to live in a cool dark place (not in direct sunlight is best).
